Dear Friends,
I have never been one to sit along the sidelines and have always been the type of person that, when I see something that could be done more efficiently, takes the first opportunity to make a difference. That is why I am running for Secretary of State. But before I get in to why I’m running, I’d first like to tell you a little bit about myself. As a 4th generation Montanan, born and raised in Culbertson, I was taught that hard work, respect, and responsibility are the keys to success. After graduating from Culbertson High School, I went to Bozeman to pursue a degree in Bio-Resource engineering at MSU. In Bozeman, I worked my way through college as a butcher and a junior high football coach.
After receiving my degree, I joined WWC Engineering. As the Senior Project Manager of the firm’s Helena office I’ve been able to help build Montana’s infrastructure by helping to ensure safe roads, clean drinking water and irrigated crops. Since joining WWC I’ve worked hard to expand our Montana operations and despite some tough economic times we’ve been able to grow our business and create jobs for Montanans.
I’m running for Secretary of State because Montana’s future depends not only on the wisdom of our past, but also on the ability and vision to look towards the future and bring new and innovative ideas to the table. In office I will work to ensure that every person has the right to vote in the way that best suits them; I will reduce the size of government from the inside out; and will work to create high-paying jobs and a stable funding source for education through responsible development of our state’s natural resources, through my vote on the land board.
I hope I can count on your support going forward.
Sincerely,

Scott Aspenlieder
